Privacy Policy
Stemly · Last updated: October 23, 2026
Stemly splits songs into separate stems (vocals, drums, bass and other instruments). This policy explains what happens to your data when you use the app.
Summary
Stemly does not collect, store or share any personal data. There is no account, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking.
Your music
Songs you import and the stems Stemly creates are processed and stored only on your device. They are never uploaded to us or to any third party. You can delete them at any time in the app (Settings → Delete All Separations) or by deleting the app.
Purchases
Subscriptions are handled entirely by Apple through the App Store. We do not receive your name, email address or payment details. Apple's privacy policy applies to those transactions: apple.com/legal/privacy.
Notifications
If you allow notifications, Stemly sends local notifications from your device when a separation finishes. No data is sent to a server for this.
Settings
Preferences such as theme, language and haptics are stored locally on your device.
Children
Stemly does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children under 13.
Changes
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new date.
